August 10-11 North County Aikikai and San Diego Aikikai will be co-hosting a seminar with Jenny Flower Sensei from Athens Aikikai. Flower Sensei will be at San Diego Aikikai on the Saturday and at here at North County Aikikai on the Sunday. Click here for more information. I encourage all members to attend either all or part of this seminar. If you have any questions as to whether or not you are ready for a seminar, please speak to me directly.
Because of the seminar in San Diego, we will again be incorporating the two Saturday morning classes into one. All students who take the Fundamentals class at noon are encouraged to attend the 10:15 – 11:45 class instead.
Saturday, August 17 – ZANA’s GOODBYE PARTY!!! As you you all know by now, Zana will be leaving to attend Mills College at the end of the month. She will be missed by us all but this new journey in her life is cause for celebration! Please join us – families too – for this pot-luck event. Details to follow.
