Another month has flown by and sesshin is upon us. Please note that all classes at the dojo this weekend have been cancelled to accommodate our annual meditation intensive with Genjo Marinello Osho. We have been working all week to make sure that the dojo is as clean as possible. For those of you not attending sesshin, the 10:15 and noon time Aikido classes will be combined and held outdoors, at Seagrove Park, off 15th Street in Del Mar. This is a beautiful location on grass, right above the beach and with a view of the ocean. Please gather there by 10 o’clock Saturday morning. BRING TANTO.
- Monday, May 26th is Memorial Day and the dojo will be officially closed, but open for practice if arranged in advance with a senior student.
- This will be the month to begin work constructing more storage space for the dojo. Watch out for further announcements. It will be a time for all hands on deck and should be a fun opportunity to work together to make improvements on our space.
